काठमाडौँ — Rajasthan Royals ले Lucknow Super Giants माथि सात विकेटको प्रभावशाली जित निकाल्दै Indian Premier League मा प्लेअफ पुग्ने सम्भावना थप बलियो बनाएको छ ।

जयपुरमा मंगलबार सम्पन्न खेलमा लखनउले पहिले ब्याटिङ गर्दै पाँच विकेट गुमाएर २२० रनको प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक योगफल तयार पारेको थियो । टोलीका लागि ओपनर Mitchell Marsh ले ९६ रनको उत्कृष्ट इनिङ्स खेले ।

तर विशाल लक्ष्य पछ्याएको राजस्थानले आक्रामक ब्याटिङ प्रदर्शन गर्दै १९.१ ओभरमै तीन विकेटको क्षतिमा लक्ष्य पूरा गर्‍यो । टोलीको जितमा युवा ब्याटर Vaibhav Suryavanshi चम्किए । उनले ३८ बलमा सात चौका र १० छक्काको मद्दतमा ९३ रनको विस्फोटक पारी खेले ।

त्यस्तै Dhruv Jurel ले ३८ बलमा अविजित ५३ रन जोड्दै टोलीलाई जितसम्म पुर्‍याए ।

यस नतिजासँगै राजस्थान १४ अंकसहित तालिकाको चौथो स्थानमा उक्लिएको छ भने लखनउ आठ अंकमै सीमित रहँदै दसौं स्थानमा रहेको छ ।

Kathmandu — Rajasthan Royals strengthened their chances of reaching the playoffs in the Indian Premier League after registering an impressive seven-wicket victory over Lucknow Super Giants on Tuesday.

In the match played in Jaipur, Lucknow posted a competitive total of 220 runs for the loss of five wickets after opting to bat first. Opener Mitchell Marsh starred with the bat, scoring 96 runs.

Chasing the challenging target, Rajasthan produced an aggressive batting display and reached 225 runs for the loss of three wickets in just 19.1 overs. Young batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a match-winning knock of 93 runs off 38 balls, hitting seven fours and ten sixes.

Similarly, Dhruv Jurel remained unbeaten on 53 runs from 38 deliveries and guided the team to victory.

With the win, Rajasthan moved up to fourth place in the standings with 14 points, while Lucknow remained at the bottom in tenth position with eight points.
